Sahih al-Bukhari 7074

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو النُّعْمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، أَنَّ رَجُلاً، مَرَّ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ بِأَسْهُمٍ قَدْ أَبْدَى نُصُولَهَا، فَأُمِرَ أَنْ يَأْخُذَ بِنُصُولِهَا، لاَ يَخْدِشُ مُسْلِمًا‏.‏

A man passed through the mosque and he was carrying arrows, the heads of which were exposed (protruding). The man was ordered (by the Prophet) to hold the iron heads so that it might not scratch (injure) any Muslim.
